Our luxury ebike tours are designed to bring you the best of the region, with unique and memorable sightseeing tours that take in beaches, picturesque and historic villages and our award-winning vineyards and local eateries. You can choose from one of our tour itineraries or simply tell us what you’d like to see and do and we’ll design a custom tour itinerary for you (subject to a minimum of 4 people).
Small Group Ebike Tours
To ensure the comfort and safety of all our riders, tours are limited to a maximum of 8 people. Two experienced guides will usually accompany tours, one riding out front and another at the back to cater to all experience levels. Whilst our tours have an itinerary, they still remain flexible depending on the numbers and the needs of the group.
We can offer tours of up to 14 people at a time but riders may be split into 2 separate groups for added safety (please call us for more details).

Overview
Our beach cruising tour follows the beautiful coastline from Silver Sands at Sellicks Beach to Port Willunga in Aldinga. This picturesque and unique area is one of only a few locations where you can drive directly onto the beach. Our beachside cruise is like no other, as weather and tide permitting, you’ll get to cruise along the beautiful white sands right next to the surf and take in the breathtaking ocean views and rugged coastline. The trip includes a Cafe stop add midway point and lunch at a gorgeous restaurant directly on the beach to finish.
What to expect
Meet At Silver Sands Beach
Meet in the car park at Silver Sands beach, where your hosts will greet you. We’ll talk you through how to use an electric bike, fit you up with a helmet and ensure the seat is in the correct position for your height. Then there’ll be an opportunity to ride the bike and get a feel for it before the tour begins.
Silver Sands Beach
Silvers Sands beach is known for its beautiful rolling hills and views across the Gulf of St Vincent. Weather and tide permitting, we’ll start the tour with a leisurely cruise along the gorgeous white sandy beaches and take in the stunning views heading towards Port Willunga.
Port Willunga
Port Willunga is one of the most popular and photographed beaches in South Australia due to the jetty pylons, also called ‘the sticks, ‘ and its infamous caves. There will be plenty of time to wander into the caves and make the most of the fantastic photo opportunities next to the jetty pylons, crystal clear waters and stunning golden cliff faces. Even a quick swim in the crystal clear waters if you desire.
Coastal Cruising
After the Port Willunga stop we will leisurely head back towards Silver Sands Beach Club where we’ll stow the bikes and indulge in lunch around 1.00pm overlooking the beach.
Lunch
Lunch will consist of gourmet pizzas at Silver Sands Beach club. Silver Sands Beach Club is located directly on the beach and offers expansive beach views and a wide selection of local award-winning wines.

Overview
Our Vintage Vino Tour is a slightly longer ride but just as exhilarating and takes in a quiet country road as we head to Down The Rabbit Hole with a tasting in the Vintage double decker bus. We then head to Foggo Wines or Haselgrove Wines and maybe a quick extra stop time depending on the needs of the group before heading back to Chalk Hill Winery for a gourmet Pinsa lunch and a refreshing drink.
What to expect
The Vintage Vino Tour is a fantastic way to explore the beautiful landscape and world-famous vineyards of Mclaren Vale. You’ll be out in the fresh air and cruising along in comfort and style on the vast network of purpose-built bike tracks which meander through the vineyards and creeks of McLaren Vale. Our tour follows various parts of the Shiraz Trail and the Flat To Vale Trail which are flanked by 13 different vineyards. The tour includes two wine tastings and lunch at Chalk Hill Wines.
Down The Rabbit Hole Wines
As we meander through the vineyards we come across our first stop Down The Rabbit Hole.
A cool laid back vibe with relaxing tunes in the background greets us before we park the bikes and head aboard the Vintage converted double decker bus for a wine tasting with a difference.
Foggo Wines or Haselgrove Wines
Depending on the day and the number of people on the wine tour, our next stop will be a wine tasting at either Foggo Wines or Haselgrove Wines around 12.30pm.
Foggo Wines is a boutique vineyard known for its extensive collection of fortified wines (10 in total) alongside a selection of boutique wines.
Haselgrove Wines is a premium winemaker specialising in small batch, high quality handcrafted wines. It boasts an architecturally designed rooftop cellar door with 360-degree views across its vineyards.
Lunch At Chalk Hill Winery
To finish the wine tour, we’ll cycle back to Chalk Hill Winery (around 2pm) where we’ll stow the bikes and indulge in a gourmet Pinsa lunch whilst enjoying the stunning views
Gin lovers can also sample some award winning Gins at Never Never Distilling Co. which is on the same premises.

Richard Hamilton Wines
Our first stop on the Mclaren Vale Winery Tour is a tasting at Richard Hamilton Wines around 11am. With five generations in viticulture, Richard Hamilton wines has a long history of producing award winning wines. The Hamilton’s are one of the earliest winemaking families in South Australia, first setting up vineyards in 1838. The Richard Hamilton Wines cellar door is set amongst beautifully manicured gardens with expansive views across its vineyards.

Our Deluxe Ebike Tours in Mclaren Vale are designed to be the most refined and comfortable ebike tours. We’ll be venturing out riding exclusive vintage-inspired Vallkree electric bikes that are designed for comfort and built for performance. They have large soft seats, super wide tyres and 6 levels of power assist to ensure you’ll easily glide over any terrain in comfort and style.

We use Vallkree ebikes for all our tours, so you’ll get a quality designer bike built for on or off-road conditions. Our bikes are fully spec’d with 250 watts of power, 6 levels of power assist, hydraulic brakes, onboard computer, usb phone charger and a mobile phone holder for the ultimate easy, safe and comfortable cycling experience.

When you’ve been out cycling for the day it’s easy to build up an appetite, so all our tours include a good hearty meal. Gourmet pizzas are a popular choice with clients and are available in a range of delicious flavours with vegetarian options.
Expert Guides
Our tour guides are experienced cyclists and will always take the tour at your pace. We tend to stay off the busy roads preferring to take you through the back roads or plentiful bike trails in and around the area. We’ve got extensive knowledge of the Fleurieu Peninsula region and will guide you through our best bike trails and scenic townships to ensure you have a memorable and enjoyable day out.

FAQ – Ebike Hire McLaren Vale
Do you have to be fit to go on an ebike tour?
No, we welcome people of all fitness levels on our tours. Our electric bikes have 6 different levels of assist, so you can choose how much to exert yourself. You can decide when and where to activate the motor, so you can adjust your ride to your fitness level and do as much or as little work as desired.
Do Deluxe Ebike Tours cater for people with special dietary needs?
Yes, please let us know if you have any food allergies or require vegetarian or vegan options and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
What should I bring on my ebike tour?
We recommend bringing some water, sunscreen and sunglasses. Dress for the weather and bring along a raincoat or warm sweater if the weather is due to change and please wear closed shoes or sneakers.
Is it difficult to ride an ebike?
No, riding an ebike is very similar to riding a normal bike but a little bit easier. Your tour guides will provide full instructions on how to use the bike and allow you some time to get a feel for the bike before the tour begins.
What if I need to cancel my tour booking?
All tours can be cancelled or changed without charge up to 48 hours before the tour starts.
